About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to support our construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating project activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Duties

Solicitation for bids

•

Notification to suppliers/subcontractors

•

Organizing ,filing & tracking suppliers/subcontractors quotes

•

Distribution of plan revisions

•

Working with estimators

Permits

•

Permit applications for ROW, Utility, Fire, Site & SWWPP utilizing city, county & state online permit portals

•

Gathering & uploading of required documents working with PMs

•

Securing insurance bonds

•

Track Progress of permit review & comments

•

Handling all inspection request

•

Permit close out documents

811 Locates

•

Using 811 Sunshine online portal to call in locates for new projects

•

Tracking & updating location tickets during construction process

•

Communication with field management

Submittals & PO’s

•

Assigning PO numbers for materials & subcontracts

•

Acquiring cut sheets/submittals & submitting to engineers

•

Tracking approvals of materials

HCSS Heavy Bid & Job

•

Setting up job folders with in HCSS cloud

•

Uploading document in HCSS

•

Updating HCSS with revised documents during construction

Program Knowledge Requirements:

•

Microsoft Office, Word & Excel

•

Adobe Acrobat

•

Drop Box

•

HCSS Heavy Bid & Job (not required but a plus)

•

Power Point (not required but a plus)

Wages $20 to $25 depending on experience & skills

Work Hours 7am to 4PM (40 HR a Week)
