PURCHASING COORDINATOR'S JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Enter and place purchase orders with vendors

•

Track and report manufacturer lead times, ship dates, and other scheduling data

•

Oversee ‘Purchasing’ e-mails, print out the related invoices and forwarding to the related persons who need to deal with and respond to and check order status on a daily basis

•

Process purchasing, performing typing, copying and other administrative assignments as assigned, including answering phones

•

Track ‘drop ship’ customer orders and update tracking info

•

Computer/data entry input

•

Coordinate with other departments to ensure that orders are processed appropriately and promptly

•

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

•

Review pricing when submitting orders and processing invoices

•

Answer phones regarding internet order status in a timely and polite manner

•

Performs other duties as assigned or requested

PURCHASING COORDINATOR'S SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

•

High school diploma or equivalency

•

Experienced level in purchasing preferred

•

Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, ability to establish reports, project a professional tone and provide clear concise information

•

Good interpersonal skills working with internal and external customers

•

Detail oriented

•

Good memory skills

•

Strong multitasking and organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment

•

Proficient in computer skills and data entry skills i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Sales, etc.

•

Attendance/Punctuality

•

Ability to receive and integrate constructive feedback in a professional and growth-oriented manner

•
