-Monitors supplier’s performance and manufacturing with industrial codes/standards; specified methods and procedures.
-Ability to review and verify compliance documentation, including test reports, inspection records, material certifications, and as-built drawings, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
-Reviews the procurement document requirements with supplier representatives to ensure they are known and understood.
-Monitors inspection activities of supplier personnel including the witnessing of operations, inspections, examinations or tests to verify that procurement document requirements have been met.
-Identify and document non-conformities, discrepancies, or deviations from project requirements during inspections and tests, and initiating corrective and preventive actions as necessary to address quality issues and ensure compliance.
-Releases conforming material for shipment and notifies other client functional organizations to assist in coordination of their activities.
-Experience with major commodities typically procured for global business unit projects recognized Codes and Standards, manufacturing methods, inspection/examination/testing techniques, and technical document review and implementation.
-Experience or demonstrated proficiency in the concepts of administration of quality surveillance assignments, including capability surveys and compliance audits.
-Experience with one or more Nondestructive Examination and Testing methods (RT, PT, UT, VT).
-Current or previous Certified Welding Inspector CWI certification.
-Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
