Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate VPK teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth. This role involves creating lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and ensuring the welfare of children in a classroom setting. Experience in daycare/VPK settings is preferred, with an emphasis on utilizing various methods to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.

•

Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages positive interactions among students.

•

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational experience.

•

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

•

Organize classroom activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool-aged children.

•

Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.

•

Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience.

Skills

•

Strong lesson planning abilities with a focus on engaging instructional strategies.

•

Experience in childcare settings, particularly in private schools or daycare environments.

•

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.

•

Familiarity with various teaching methods is a plus.

•

Ability to create a structured yet flexible classroom environment that meets the needs of all students.

•

Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating patience and understanding of child development principles.
