2nd Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Metalico in Girard, Ohio, a leading full-service scrap metal recycler in the Northeastern United States. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in scrap metal recycling, ability to perform preventative maintenance, and attention to detail and accuracy.

Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing the 2nd shift production and maintenance crew, collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Yard Manager to ensure equipment and production readiness and responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees under their supervision. Responsible to preform and oversee preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for all stationary and mobile equipment, and other supporting equipment in the Girard location. This position works closely with operations, maintenance, and environmental, or some combination of all.

Benefits:* Life Insurance - $25,000 (100% employer paid).

Essential Job Functions:* Ability to perform preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and minor component fabrication.

Qualifications:* Degree/certificate from a technical school; or a minimum five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Hours:* Monday through Friday with a 40+ hour workweek, two Saturdays a month as scheduled.
