We are a supplier of construction supplies, materials, equipment, and rentals to construction sites all over the southeast.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on technical accounting and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities
Georgia Accounts Receivable

•

Applies and posts daily cc, check, cash, and wire/ACH transactions

•

Invoicing

•

Daily Post Office runs

•

Reconciling cash drawer and petty cash daily

•

Assisting customers with account inquiries

•

Run monthly customer statements

•

Setting up DUR customers into Advantive software

•

Communicating with collections dept. for any short/over payments

•

Scanning customer remittances into shared drive

Alabama Accounts Payable:

•

Processing/vouchering vendor invoices

•

Run Weekly AP aging reports

•

Issue vendor payments via ACH/Wire, Check, or CC

•

Completing New vendor applications

•

Setting up vendors into Advantive software

•

Communicating with Sales team for any discrepancies

•

Reviewing vendor statements

•

Pay monthly leases for AL property/land

•

Review/Pay employee expense reports

•

Monthly commission payroll

Experience

- Prior experience in accounting is preferred

- Proficiency in technical accounting practices

- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes

- Strong customer service skills

-Bilingual is a PLUS
