Job Title: Analyst - Field Customer Service Department: Customer Service

Reports to: Manager - Regional Ops Customer Service

Location: In Office

, Vestal NY, Ithaca NY, Elmira NY

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $64,538.40 - $80,673

Job Summary

Responds to basic and complex customer service issues including credit, billing and accounting. Reviews reports to ensure HEFPA and tariff compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•

1. Performs daily activities in the Customer Service Field operations and responds to moderately complex situations. (10% of time, Secondary)

•

2. Follows established customer service policy and procedures designed to maintain departmental operations including revenue collection, customer satisfaction, HEFPA rules and safety policies. (50% of time, Primary)

•

3. Confers with management regarding complex customer billing and credit questions. (10% of time, Secondary)

•

4. Verifies documentation regarding customer billing and invoicing is accurate and complete. (15% of time, Primary)

•

5. Assists Field Customer Service Supervisor in day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Department as well as the Meter Department. (15% of time, Primary)

Required Qualifications

•
Skills/Abilities:

+ Working knowledge of PC based programming skills + Problem solving skills + Strong communications skills.

•
Experience/Training:

+ 3-4 years of customer service experience + Proficiency in Customer Service policy and procedures.

•
Required Education:

+ High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

•

Knowledge company process and procedure related to disconnecting gas service

•

Knowledge of replevin process
