We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager in our Crockett California Wastewater Plant. Candidates must have a California Grade IV Wastewater License.
We are looking for candidates with at least 7 years of experience with wastewater and or/water treatment and infrastructure.
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for training and overseeing the daily activities of the material handling staff and assisting in the operational planning, scheduling and controlling of water and wastewater plants.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred and 7 years of experience in the operation of a wastewater treatment facility or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License. CT Class 4 Wastewater Operator License or ability to receive reciprocity to Connecticut.
Technical: Knowledge of water/wastewater facilities. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Ability to interpret analytical results.
Communication: Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback. Promotes a culture of diversity, respect & accountability. Challenges other through productive discussion.

The work environment is characteristic of an office environment: sitting, standing, walking, bending and lifting are required to perform job responsibilities. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
