Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of the business unit through the installation, programming, start-up and maintenance of automation and process control equipment
Responsible for the design, specification, installation, programming, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automation equipment in order to improve plant system operation/uptime and reduce total operating costs
Support all types of plant activity including DCS, PLC, measurement facilities, natural gas collection systems, gas compressors, and gas plant processing equipment
Successful applicant will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology Groups
Thoroughness and attention to detail are required as a significant amount of time will be spent working with complex PLC programs and advanced process control systems
Will be subject to overtime and call-out work as needed
Other tasks may also be assigned to support operations as necessary
Understanding of pneumatic instrumentation: calibration and maintenance
All other duties as assigned


Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills for complex problems in automation systems
Excellent knowledge of automation host systems
Skillful in reading electronic schematics, identifying components, and understanding their functions
Able to read, program, install and troubleshoot complex PLC programs
Good computer skills


Working Conditions

Will be working in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Will work outdoors in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.
Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity


Physical Requirements

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 62 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.
