Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our flooring and finishes division. This role includes preparing CAD shop drawings, taking field measurements, and assisting our team throughout various stages of the project lifecycle. Ideal candidates have a few years of experience in construction or a related field and are comfortable working in both the office and on job sites.
Responsibilities:
•
Prepare and revise CAD drawings for active projects
•
Visit job sites to take field measurements and verify conditions
•
Support project managers and field teams with documentation and coordination
•
Assist with submittals, RFIs, and tracking project timelines
•
Handle general computer-based project tasks and file management
Requirements:
•
Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
•
Strong computer skills and ability to manage digital documents
•
Willingness to travel locally to job sites for measurements and inspections
•
2–3 years of experience in construction, drafting, or project coordination
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
