Job Summary
The Construction Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of construction projects. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that ensure smooth communication and organization within the construction team and with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties
•
Maintain and organize project files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
•
Assist project managers with scheduling meetings and coordinating project timelines.
•
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
•
Utilize computer software (Builders Trend) for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes.
•
Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks efficiently.
•
Provide administrative support as needed, including acting as a personal assistant to senior staff members.
•
Facilitate communication between team members and clients (General Contractors) to ensure project goals are met.
•
Maintain an organized office environment that promotes productivity.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in an administrative role within the construction industry or related field.
•
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•
Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Builders Trend and/or Procore a plus
•
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
•
Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
