Drilling Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are looking for Drilling engineer to join our Drilling team at Canadian Natural! As the successful candidate, you will be involved in Canadian drilling and completion activities with a focus on delivering safe, low-cost operations with strong pre-spud planning. You will have the opportunity to participate in design, assurance and execution phases of projects across a wide range of areas.

Key Accountabilities:

+ Prepare accurate programs, along with detailed and accurate cost estimates + Complete detailed area reviews, analyze offset well data and new technologies to develop optimized drilling techniques and liner designs + Prepare and present peer reviews on area development and well designs + Manage timing and scheduling of drilling projects and communicate information to management, asset teams, vendors and all disciplines involved throughout the project + Stay current with drilling and completion production liner technology to ensure timely and effective application of technology
