The EDF Innovation Lab energy market team develops models, tools, and analyses for EDF Business Units to anticipate market movements and develop robust strategies.
The mission of this initiative is to enable EDF’s business units to make informed strategic decisions toward achieving net-zero carbon portfolios while mitigating market risks.
The position will support the Risk Management and Modeling activity. The energy transition introduces new risks to renewable energy assets, including market price volatility, volume risk, basis risk, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) market uncertainty. We are seeking an Energy Market & Risk Modeling Intern to support the development of advanced analytical tools for risk quantification, price forecasting, and battery bid optimization. This role offers hands-on experience in electricity market modeling, renewable asset management, and hedging strategies, providing a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge challenges in the energy sector.
