The Lead Billing Analyst ensures timely and accurate production and distribution of customer bills in accordance with customer contracts, policies, and procedures. This role involves generating and validating customer invoices, addressing various billing data requests from internal and external customers, and reviewing accounts payable invoices related to purchased power, wheeling, and related services.
The Lead Billing Analyst is responsible for recommending process improvement, troubleshooting issues that arise during the monthly billing cycle, and collaborating with billing team, NYPA IT, external and internal customers for resolve.
Limited travel (about 10%) required primarily to our generating facilities.

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
