The opportunity

Our TC Energy Marketing group, a non-regulated affiliate Gas, Power and Emissions marketing and trading business, is looking to add a Lead Commercial Operations Analyst to our Commercial Operations and Asset Management team, based in Houston, TX, to help us grow, manage risk, and optimize the portfolio.

Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Operations & Asset Management, this position is responsible for understanding and coordinating various operations and settlements functions, accurate reporting of MTM and P&L attribution, variance to budget analysis, timely and accurate settlement of physical and financial transactions (Gas & Power). The role is cross functional and will also have exposure to the Asset Management team.

Minimum qualifications* Post-Secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related discipline

Preferred qualifications* Demonstrated in depth knowledge of the wholesale electricity markets, wholesale fuels markets and the associated infrastructure supporting those trading marketplaces
