Job Summary:
As an Acquisitions Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities within the coal mining industry. Your expertise in market analysis, due diligence, and negotiations will be instrumental in expanding our portfolio and driving our company's continued success. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets in the coal mining sector.
- Perform thorough due diligence on identified targets, including financial analysis, risk assessments, and operational evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investment banks, brokerages, and industry experts, to source potential acquisition opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and manage the entire acquisition process, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to efficiently integrate acquired assets into the existing business structure.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities to recommend strategic acquisitions that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to evaluate potential synergies and benefits of potential acquisitions.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the acquisition process.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions within the coal mining industry.
- Strong financial acumen, with excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, with the capacity to build relationships with external parties.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the acquisition process.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Range: $10,000 - $13,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
