Job Description: Attorney (Downstream Oil & Gas Industry)

Location: San Francisco, California

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 per annum (based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Attorney to join our team in the Downstream Oil & Gas industry. As an Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting contracts, and managing all legal aspects related to our operations in California.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal expertise and guidance on various matters related to the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.

- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and leases pertaining to the acquisition of land and mineral rights.

- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local laws and regulations.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal compliance in all aspects of our operations.

- Represent the company in litigation matters and act as a liaison with external legal counsel.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in legislation, and potential legal risks.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Admission to the State Bar of California.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.

- Strong knowledge of lease negotiation, drafting contracts, and legal research.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

- Proficient in legal software applications and MS Office Suite.

Skills:

- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and contracts.

- Experience in lease negotiation and related legal matters.

- Knowledge of the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
