Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Attorney to join our legal team. As an Attorney in the Downstream Oil & Gas industry, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel, advice, and representation to the organization. This position will be based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and counsel to the organization regarding Downstream Oil & Gas industry matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations.
- Advise on legal issues related to acquisition, divestment, and joint venture activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies and policies.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and trends to anticipate potential legal risks.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as needed to handle complex legal matters.
- Ensure the protection of company interests by providing risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Texas State Bar Association.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a legal role, preferably in the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations applicable to the industry.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation.
- Proactive and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Strong ethics and integrity in handling confidential information.

Salary Range: $10,000 - $13,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
