Job Description: Attorney - Downstream Oil & Gas Sector

Location: Austin, Texas

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 per year (depending on experience)

The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to clients within the Downstream Oil & Gas industry. Based in Austin, Texas, the Attorney will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with legal regulations and handle any legal issues that arise. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in legal practice, preferably within the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and support to clients in the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.
- Conduct legal research to ensure clients' compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, litigation, and other legal proceedings.
- Advise clients on legal risks and potential legal issues.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other legal professionals.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal files and documentation.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
- Minimum 3 years of experience practicing law, ideally within the Downstream Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local law and regulations.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
