Salary Range: $10,000 - $11,000 per annum

Job Summary:
Reporting to the senior management team, the Acquisitions Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing potential acquisition opportunities within the coal mining industry. This role requires a keen eye for market trends, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the coal mining industry and a proven track record in driving successful acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, and operations teams, to assess integration feasibility and post-acquisition synergies.
- Lead negotiations with potential acquisition targets and structure deals that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts, such as brokers, bankers, and consultants, to stay informed about market dynamics and potential opportunities.
- Monitor and report on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities that may impact the company's acquisition strategy.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in acquisitions, preferably within the coal mining industry or a related sector.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess potential risks and returns.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties.
- In-depth knowledge of the coal mining industry, including market dynamics, key players, and emerging trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Willingness to travel as required for due diligence, site visits, and meetings with potential acquisition targets.

Salary and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is between $10,000 and $11,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
