Job Description: Attorney - Coal Mining

The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, and representing our company in various legal matters. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel on matters related to coal mining operations, compliance, and regulations
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including court hearings and negotiations
- Advise and support the company on legal aspects of business decisions and initiatives
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, including reviewing and advising on insurance and liability matters
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the coal mining industry

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas or willingness to become admitted
- Experience in the coal mining industry or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing the coal mining industry
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards

Salary and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $10,000 - $12,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
