Operations Manager/COO

As our COO, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for improvement, controlling operational costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You should be adept at developing and implementing operational strategies, streamlining processes, and ensuring alignment across sales, service, and administrative functions. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring our company consistently meets and exceeds its operational goals. Familiarity with field service management software and data analysis tools would be a significant advantage. Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including service delivery, installation, scheduling, and inventory management. Optimize resource allocation (personnel, equipment, and materials) to maximize efficiency and profitability. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate operational reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards. Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders on strategic initiatives and long-term planning. Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within the service industry (HVAC experience is a strong plus). Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful operational strategies and drive significant improvements. Strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, and performance management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach. Experience managing budgets and controlling costs effectively. Familiarity with field service management software and data analysis tools is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
