RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Perform day-to-day purchasing functions for ASME Code material, non-code material, and subcontracted services.
•
Review fabrication drawings, Code calculations, and client supplied specifications to ensure compliance.
•
Identify and resolve issues with vendors/internal customers arising throughout the procurement process.
•
Issues purchase orders in response to material requirements established by manufacturing, field operations, or projects
•
Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
•
Contributes to project as a team member or leads small projects.
•
Negotiating, issuing, and managing purchase orders ensuring the goods or services meet customer requirements
•
Creates request for quotations (RFQ) and organizes competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services.
•
Initiating and maintaining adequate purchasing records by ensuring PO data is accurate and complete.
QUALIFICATIONS :
•
Associates from an accredited university or college
•
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Sourcing / Procurement
•
5+ years experience with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
•
3+ years of experience reading fabrication drawings
•
Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Schedule:
•
8 hour shift
•
Monday to Friday
