Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement processes and ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of logistics, and experience in inventory management. This role is critical in maintaining our supply chain efficiency and supporting the overall operational goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.

•

Manage the sourcing process for materials, supplies, and services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

•

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

•

Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues that arise.

•

Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

•

Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to streamline procurement processes.

•

Utilize SAP or other procurement management software to track purchases, manage contracts, and analyze spending data.

Skills

•

Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.

•

Proficient in contract negotiation techniques to secure advantageous agreements.

•

Experience in procurement management with a focus on sourcing high-quality materials.

•

Ability to buy effectively while considering cost efficiency and quality standards.

•

Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems is preferred.

•

Excellent analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and market trends.

•

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

•

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
