Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a strong background in technical sales, particularly within the solar industry. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in educating customers about solar energy solutions, guiding them through the purchasing process, and helping them make informed decisions that benefit both their homes and the environment.

Responsibilities

•

Engage with potential customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions.

•

Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations.

•

Present detailed proposals that outline system specifications, benefits, and financing options.

•

Utilize Salesforce or similar software to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships.

•

Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.

•

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products.

•

Provide leadership and support to junior team members as needed.

•

Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution post-sale.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in technical sales or solar sales is highly desirable.

•

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.

•

Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer interactions.

•

Bilingual candidates are preferred to better serve diverse customer bases.

•

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.

•

A background in energy sales or renewable energy markets is a plus.

•

Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
