STEEL/METAL OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for a professional, motivated Outside Sales Representative who can help grow our business through cold calling and by nurturing our current accounts. This individual must have a proven track record of sales success, generating leads and retaining client relationships. Experience in the steel industry an asset.
The Sales Representative job duties include but are not limited to;
•
Build rapport with customers and following up with them regularly
•
Identify and generate new customer accounts
•
Ensure ultimate client satisfaction through industry leading customer service
•
Visit customers and submit a weekly activity report to the Sales Manager
•
Negotiate terms and prices with margin and consult the Sales Manager on those items that exceed authorized limits
•
Collaborate and work along side with each department within Kawartha Metals
•
Adhere to the policies and procedures of Kawartha Metals
•
Attend sales meetings at our main location in Peterborough, ON
The successful candidate must have;
•
Passion for sales and building relationships
•
Willingness to learn and understand the business
•
Take initiative to assist in other departments in order to fulfill customer requests
•
3-5 years experience in sales
•
1-3 years experience in the steel industry an asset
•
Valid G Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
