JOB SUMMARY


Performs daily accounting tasks.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Promote confidentiality of financial and other data at all times.
Accounts Payable invoice and credit memo processing.
Ensure correct accounting codes are selected to accurately process vendor invoices.
Organize and maintain financial records, invoices, and receipts.
Verify and correct vendor balance and billing errors.
Work with vendors to answer inquiries.
Maintain Vendor W-9 & Insurance Verification in Accounting Software.
Uphold internal controls and segregation of duties within the department.
Deliver bank deposits and loan payments to appropriate financial institutions.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed by the finance team.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable as well as general bookkeeping practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and financial software (e.g., Intacct).
Ability to prioritize as well as problem solve.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial matters.
Maintain professional, clear, and effective communication with colleagues and external parties.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is mild to moderate. The primary room environment contains ambient room temperatures and lighting as found in a typical office environment.
