Cyber Security Engineer

Designs, builds, and maintains systems to protect an organization's sensitive data from cybercrime. They work with other IT professionals to ensure that systems are secure and free of vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
•
Assess security needs : Determine the security requirements of an organization and create best practices and standards
•
Design secure systems: Create and implement secure systems and networks to protect against cyberattacks
•
Test and monitor systems: Continually test and monitor systems to ensure they are working correctly
•
Respond to breaches: Respond to security breaches and perform damage control
•
Develop security policies: Set standards for security policies and procedures
•
Troubleshoot problems : Troubleshoot security and network problems
Responsibilities
•
Design, build, and maintain secure systems, networks, and software
•
Install firewalls and other breach detection systems
•
Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and fix security gaps
•
Create and implement security policies
•
Respond to security incidents and manage disaster recovery
Skills
•
Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C++, and JavaScript
•
Proficiency in penetration testing, networking, and system administration
•
Understanding of cyber laws and compliance requirements
•
Ability to manage risk and make quick decisions
•
Strong communication skills
•
Attention to detail
