- Analyze, and interpret geographic field data using GIS software
- Create and update maps, charts, and other visual representations of data
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GIS databases and systems
- Conduct research to gather additional data for mapping projects
- Operate and maintain GIS software, tools, and technologies to administer and support large-scale, long-term projects for clients
-Interface with contractors and field personnel to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate GIS data into their workflows
- Provide technical support and training to staff on GIS software and tools
- Perform quality control checks on GIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in GIS technology
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, AGOL, Field Maps) preferred
