Payroll Manager Location: Near Novi, Michigan
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the payroll functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and seamless coordination with HR and finance teams. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and expertise in payroll systems and processes.
Key Aspects of the Human Resources Payroll Manager Role
+ Manage payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws. + Oversee tax reporting, garnishments, and year-end reporting. + Optimize payroll system integration with HRIS.
+ Handle grievance meetings, contract negotiations, and investigations. + Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements. + Support leadership in labor strategy and workforce planning.
+ Supervise payroll specialists and HR staff. + Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training. + Improve payroll and HR processes for efficiency and accuracy.
+ Oversee payroll and HR functions across multiple locations. + Travel to OH to support operations.
+ Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to labor laws. + Support internal and external audits. + Recommend and implement policy improvements.
