As we continue to build out IT Capabilities to support LCV and 1PointFive, it will be critical to improve our team’s knowledge and understanding of the carbon market. One of the positions we identified in last year’s LCV IT staffing plan is a Carbon Dioxide Removal Credit (CDR) Management position.

The new role will require several years of experience in carbon markets and CDR Issuance. Will also need to be well connected with several standards bodies, verification companies and registries. Being involved in the Interwork Alliance digital Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) workgroups and Framework open standard bodies is a plus.

Hiring such a skill will allow us to bring the well needed skills, experience, and external relationships inhouse and help develop our individual team members fast.

+ Lead the ECS PoC to completion + Lead the ECS 2.0 Development + Develop the End user training and support model + Engage with DNV and Verra to help develop their dMRV capabilities and integration with the ECS ecosystem + Engage with other VVB and Registries as we onboard new ones for the DAC/LCV program + Collaborate on the Carbon Issuance "standards" and engagement with CCS+ and groups like IETA. + Help establish standards related to Credit Issuance: Lead the IWA and TTF standards
