Roger’s Group is currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This position is NOT remote and will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN. This is an hourly position and reports to the Payroll Manager. The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience with payroll processing, along with a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and dependability. The candidate should be able to thrive in a deadline driven environment.


Responsibilities:

Process in house, weekly payroll for 3000+ multi-state employees.
HRIS Employee Data Entry (new hire, rate changes, etc.).
Entry of payroll information (Federal W4, State Withholding, Direct Deposit, etc.).
Perform various payroll functions such as completing written Employment Verification forms, Child Support Enforcement forms, workers Comp wage forms, etc.
Complete State Unemployment Benefit Audit forms.
Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation and/or high-volume work times.
Perform other business duties as assigned.
Learn to research and resolve questions from managers and employees as they relate to the processing of payroll such as PTO, garnishments, banking, tax questions and other changes.
Learn new or enhanced operation procedures and policies.
Be willing to learn and/or take on any new responsibilities as assigned by manager.


Education and Experience

2-3 years Payroll processing experience required.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle HCM and/or ADP Workforce Management Timekeeping preferred.
Experience with processing involuntary deductions such as Child Support and Garnishments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (with an emphasis on Excel).
Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
