Job Title: Senior IT Administrator
Salary: $95K-115K per annum
Reports to: IT Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Administrator to join our IT team. This individual will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT helpdesk team while also performing advanced administrative duties in network, server, and system management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a passion for providing exceptional IT support to both end-users and the organization as a whole.
Minimum Qualifications:
•A bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent job experience.
•5+ years of experience in IT administration
•Strong proficiency with Windows desktop and server environments.
•Experience with networking protocols, switches, routers, and firewalls.
•Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
•Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V preferred).
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and SaaS applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Supervise, mentor, and support the helpdesk team, ensuring effective and timely resolution of user issues.
•Assist with ticket escalation and problem-solving, acting as a point of escalation for complex or high-priority technical issues.
•Administer and maintain critical IT systems, including servers, networks and workstations
•Manage, configure and troubleshoot IT cloud services (Microsoft 365, AWS)
•Work closely with other departments to identify IT needs and provide effective solutions.
•Participate in the development of IT strategies, projects, and new technology rollouts.
•Provide training and orientation on new systems and for new employee onboarding
•Create and maintain IT Documentation
•Support in developing and maintaining vendor relations and license management

Essential Functions, Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
•Pre-employment drug screening.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
•Position may involve working under desks, walking, standing, sitting, bending, and climbing stairs and ladders.
•Required to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone
•Some work sites may be dusty.
•Occasional after-hours and weekend work is required, both remotely and on-site.
