The Accounting GL Intern supports the General Ledger Accounting team at RWE Clean Energy. The team’s focus is to manage the general ledger, track records of income and expenses, aid audits, ensure accounting compliance, and assist with budgeting and financial analysis to maintain accurate financial management at RWE Clean Energy. The intern will assist the team in collaborating on account reconciliations, contributing to ad hoc projects and helping the team reach its goals. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while supporting RWE Clean Energy's financial operations.

Role Responsibilities:

Contribute to various ad hoc projects and tasks as required to support the team's objectives

Job Requirements and Experiences:

Effective writing and communication skills required

This is a full-time 12-week summer internship starting in June in our Chicago, IL office.

Pay range: The base hourly range for this position in Illinois for undergraduates is $25.00-$35.00 an hour, and for graduates is $30.00-$40.00. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
