Vice President: Business Recruitment & Expansion Salary Range: $89,232.00 - $138,278.40
The purpose of this position is to lead the growth and development of our target industry sectors by marketing regional assets externally and developing relationships with site selectors and individuals responsible for making site location and expansion decisions. The vice president will be responsible for leading staff and developing and implementing programs that assist local industry and businesses in their aspirations to grow in the Greenville MSA.
This is a full-time position. Hours of work will vary, and some weekends may be required. The position works primarily in the ENC Alliance office located in Greenville, NC. This position requires frequent travel around the area, the state of North Carolina, and internationally. A valid passport is required for international travel.

Data Utilization: Requires the ability to synthesize and integrate data for predicting, anticipating, and planning for future events impacting the organization. Includes determining strategic and tactical decisions at the highest organizational levels of authority and responsibility.
Human Interaction: Requires the ability to engage in high level consulting and/or mentoring; includes the ability to provide guidance or advice concerning implications of courses of action, and merits of one or more strategies in comparison to others.
Equipment, Machinery, Tools and Materials Utilization: Requires the ability to use simple tools, equipment or machinery requiring little training.
Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize consulting and advisory data and information, as well as reference, descriptive and/or design data and information as applicable.
Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; the ability to calculate decimals and percentages; the ability to utilize principles of fractions; and the ability to interpret graphs.
Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to apply principles of logical, abstract, or conceptual thinking to determine a wide range of both intellectual and practical relationships, and to exercise judgment and make decisions to serve as guides and general directives for an entire organization.
Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving broader aspects of organizational programs and operations, moderately unstable situations, or the direction, control and planning of an entire program or set of programs.
Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
Dexterity: Tasks require the ability to coordinate eyes, hands, fingers, feet, and limbs in performing movements requiring moderate skill, such as data entry, typing, cutting, sawing, drilling, riveting, grinding, painting, driving, etc.
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
