What's the Role:

As a Warehouse team leader, you will oversee and optimize the daily operations in the warehouses. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. You will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Your ability will help in coordinating shipments and receipts to ensure a smooth flow of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records in the ERP system. A strong focus will be placed on safety, ensuring all materials are handled and stored in compliance with regulatory standards.

As part of inventory management, you will implement effective stock rotation strategies, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate replenishment orders with the purchasing team. You will also analyze operational data to propose and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Optimizing warehouse space and integrating new technologies will be a key aspect of this role.

Overall, you will provide clear context and structure to the team’s work using the CPQQRT format, ensuring tasks are meaningful and well-defined. Monitoring team performance, coaching individuals for improvement, and recognizing contributions within set guidelines will be essential aspects of your role. You will also manage shift coverage, approve leave, and ensure operational continuity.
