What You Will Do:

Works closely with Materia Planners, Sales Reps, Area Mangers, Office Administrators, Plants, Safety and Heavy Fleet
Oversees the Outlook Operations Scheduling Calendar
Ensures (overseeing/working with warehouse personnel) Preventative Maintenance Programs for tanks and stock points are developed and adhered to regulatory requirements
Ensures all safety procedures and processes are understood and utilized
Communicates needs, issues, opportunities to the Operations Manager
Monitors vendor compliance on ChampionX sites with warehouse personnel
Monitors Zero Defect Delivery training and compliance with 3rd party carriers
Conducts routine and regular communication regarding scheduling, inventory, product compatibility issues, mechanical requirements, etc.
Monitors and Manage DAR (Delivery Action Request) Process
Coordinates Waste programs at Grande Prairie stock points
Manages Operations Management of Change (MOC) program
Involved with constructing pre-CARS (Capital Asset Requests); obtaining quotes, etc.
Works with Materia Planners on the movement of stalled or dead stock inventory from stock points
Works with Materia Planners and Sales to minimize partial and aged totes in inventory
Assists with Monthly inventory counts
Product label printing from SAP
SAP Bill of Lading creation for assigned areas
SAP MIGO duties (receiving all incoming shipments, transfers, PO’s) for all assigned areas
Create paperwork for 3rd party and/or ship product for emergency situations.
Responsible for yard coverage after 2:00PM and when Logistics Associate is absent or on vacation
Assist Logistics Associate in yard during peak hours as required loading trucks and moving inventory
Data entry for inventory tracking
Assist with accounts payable responsibilities
Forklift operation will be required – in house training will be provided
Other duties specific to the area at the discretion and direction of the Operations Manager


Position Details:

Candidate must reside in: Grande Prairie, AB or the surrounding area.
Work week: Tuesday to Saturday
This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills - Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar. Listens to understand input, feedback, and concerns. Good analytical and critical thinking skills - Identifies and resolves problems on time; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem-solving situations
Good math skills – Ability to develop and apply mathematical thinking to solve a range of problems in everyday situations. Involves basic arithmetic and numerical concepts and uses measurements and standard tools and formulas to calculate data.
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite - Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of shipping practices of UPS, FedEx, and local trucking companies.


Physical Demand:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis without the assistance of a lifting device
