Summary: Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data to maintain accounting records by performing the following duties.

Education and/or Experience A High School diploma and three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should know accounting software, database software, Internet software, spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The work environment is located in a grain and feed facility and is dusty. At times, it can be hectic, with noise levels usually in the moderate range. The candidate must be able to anticipate deadlines, adjust priorities, and schedule to accommodate.
In-office Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. If month-end falls on a Saturday, a few hours of work are required.
