Reports To: Accounting & Office Administrator and CFO
Job Overview: This position will be part of a cross-functional and busy team requiring you to work closely with office/accounting staff and management. Duties will be varied and include accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, processing of back-office functions, and assisting in customer service. Additionally, administrative/clerical office duties will be required.
· Prepare daily customer invoicing, ensuring required supporting documentation
· General Banking: scanning of checks and posting of payments
· Communicate effectively to resolve billing and delinquent payment issues
· Routine (weekly) and systematically review the A/R aging by making recommendations for follow-up and special emphasis
· Provide administrative support as necessary to ensure efficient operation of the office, including but not limited to filling in other positions
· 2+ years of office and accounting experience
· Must have demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word) and accounting software
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
· Ability to employ critical thinking skills concerning learning & understanding company software
· Knowledge of accounting principles with strong analytical skills
