Job Overview
The Field Manager oversees the daily workflow of the solar installation projects, ensuring that jobs are completed according to safety, quality and productivity standards. This role will assist with managing inventory, resolve scheduling conflicts and work as a liaison between office and field personnel. The Field Manager will also ensure that projects are tracked in the CRM system and completed within deadlines.
Duties
•Ensures products are identified, tracked and warehoused correctly.
•Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment and monitors inventory and supplies as needed.
•Oversee the daily activities of field personnel by providing guidance to ensure optimal performance.
•Coordinate projects in the field, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
•Solve on-site issues, adapting to plans and schedules as needed.
•Work closely with project managers and warehouse managers to ensure deadlines are met and the timely availability of equipment and materials are maintained.
•Manage the logistics of field personnel and equipment to and from the worksite.
•Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.
•Ensure field personnel follow safe practices and report any incidents or accidents.
•Provide daily and regular updates to senior management on project status and progress.
•Regularly evaluate the performance of field personnel and provide feedback to senior management to improve productivity and efficiency.
•Assist in managing budget for field operations, ensuring costs are kept within allocated budgets

Qualifications
•7+ years related experience with at least 3 years of experience in the solar industry.
•Proven track record of successfully leading high-impact field personnel.
•Certificates in Safety and Compliance, Construction/Technical and Electrical is a plus.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
•Highly Proactive, with focus on continuous improvements.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Skilled in using CRMs for scheduling, project updates and meeting deadlines.
•Skilled in using Inventory management software to manage inventory and supplies.
•Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and pivot to complete tasks and deadlines.
•Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, implement strategies, and lead teams to meet deadlines.
