Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Manager to lead the service team within our CHP division. This role requires a leader with strong technical expertise in CHP/Power Generation systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team of technicians. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining the performance of CHP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including overseeing a team of technicians and service staff.
•Coordinate and schedule service activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of projects.
•Work with Technical supervisor to provide technical guidance and support to service technicians, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
•Following OEM developed maintenance schedules for CHP systems, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
•Work closely with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
•Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of service operations.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
•Collaborate with the sales and project teams to identify opportunities for service upgrades, expansions, and system optimizations.
•Prepare and manage service budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
•Provide ongoing training and development for the service team.
· Proactively manages and maintains a 6 month forecast for upcoming work and ensures the required parts and tools are available to service 2G Canada’s customers.
· Manage and review the daily field service reports, expenses, mileage etc. of the Service technicians.
•Provides regular feedback and support to the Operations Manager ensuring operations are met in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Provide daily communication with the service team and maintain a weekly service team meeting
•Create parts and service estimates for customers
•Responsible for opening service orders, reviewing and closing monthly – ensuring WIP is at a minimum. (work with Operations Manager)
•Oversee warranty claims and ensure accuracy and completed per HQ protocols
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
