The Position

Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

Based at our Norfolk, VA, plant, you will develop/Review logistics/distribution strategies and processes to deliver customers or for entering new markets with local production and through trading activities.

Development and support of Supply Chain/Logistic/Customer Service team across sites

Work closely with Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing to create a timely and cost- effective domestic/import/export supply chain.

Be responsible for the performance of domestic and international carriers and logistics intermediaries.

Ensure compliance with international and domestic laws related to import/export activity.

Evaluate tradeoffs between transportation cost, inventory cost and service levels.

Skills and experiences* Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business or other related area
