About This Job

As a Supply & Logistics Manager for Irving Blending and Packaging, you will design, plan, execute, control, and monitor supply-chain activities with the objective of creating net value. Your goal will be to build a competitive warehousing and logistics infrastructure, while delivering on seamless customer service from the moment of order to the delivery of the product. Your success will be evident based on your ability to provide customer service excellence and ensuring our customers have a point of contact for all account related questions or concerns; including price updates, invoicing, account set-up, timeline orders and credit applications, etc.

Your Responsibilities

Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
Assist in ongoing relationship management with key accounts
Analyze market and company performance information in order to identify key sales opportunities for existing and expansion markets
Manage the freight, inventory and 3rd party warehousing
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service team, via meetings, email, correspondence, project initiatives, etc
Develop 3rd party warehousing demand plans and relationships with 3rd party distribution sites, using input provided by Inventory Coordinator, Sales, and historical data
Conduct investigations into inventory non-conformities in order to verify and resolve complaints
Conduct inventory counts and oversee manage those counts completed by other, at a minimum of twice per year for all remote warehouses
Manage the overall Freight budget, working with Supply Management to ensure all shipments utilize best rates


Your Skills

Demonstrated understanding of the sales environment, channels of trade, our products, and supply locations
Good understanding of capacity planning and inventory management
Very strong customer service focus with high ownership of your responsibilities and commitments to stakeholders
Strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities
Strong analytical skills to complete detailed demand data and statistical analyses, demand forecasting, short and long-term trending, as well as seasonal and historical trending
Able to influence, lead change, and remain composed in a fast-paced and time sensitive working environment


Your Experience

Post-secondary education, preferably in business, finance, economics, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in related field
Experience in supply chain and demand planning management
Proficient with MS Office
