Sentinel is hiring a driven, Inspection Professional to serve as Operations Manager for our Houston Division. This leadership role demands a hands-on expert to direct intricate turnarounds and projects, optimize daily operations, and guarantee superior inspection service delivery.
Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing a seamless execution of turnaround projects, from initial planning to final inspection. You will also play a key role in managing the division's daily operations, including estimating, call-out dispatching, and the coordination of ongoing inspection projects. Your expertise in NDE methods and your commitment to quality will be essential in maintaining Sentinel's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
•Direct and manage all aspects of turnaround projects within the division.
•Provide expert guidance and oversight for NDE inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
•Develop and manage project estimates, schedules, and budgets.
•Coordinate call-out dispatching and manage ongoing inspection projects.
•Serve as the primary point of contact between field personnel and upper management, facilitating clear and concise communication.
•Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of inspection services.
•Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications:
•Current API Certification (essential).
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on turnaround projects.
•Significant experience in managing daily operations within the inspection industry.
•In-depth knowledge of various NDE methods and techniques.
•Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
•Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
•Proven experience in estimating inspection related work.
