We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our operational functions and drive efficiency across our customer service, production, and logistics teams.
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure production, inventory management, and distribution run efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. This role requires process adherence, ensuring standardized procedures are followed for consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
A successful candidate will have strong leadership skills to foster a customer-focused culture, enhance service levels, and optimize internal processes. Experience in customer service, manufacturing, and/or supply chain management—preferably within the oil & gas or corrosion control industry—is highly desirable.
Operations Management – Oversee warehouse, production, and customer service activities to ensure efficient material flow and timely order fulfillment.
Process Improvement – Implement and refine processes to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Quality Control – Ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality assurance protocols for materials and coatings.
Logistics & Distribution – Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
Team Leadership – Lead and develop operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Safety – Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with industry policies.
Budget & Cost Management – Monitor operational budgets, reduce costs, and enhance profitability through strategic planning.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing management, preferably in the corrosion control, coatings, or industrial distribution sector.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cathodic protection materials, coatings, or corrosion control is a plus.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams, driving operational excellence, and improving processes.
Systems & Tools: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
