Saturn has an opportunity for a full time Marketing Analyst based in the Calgary, Alberta office. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, some specific duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Analyst include, but are not limited to:

Calculate monthly oil, gas, and NGL revenue prices for Canadian assets.
Confirm and create invoice settlements, payments and receivables.
Coordinate, calculate and analyze Canadian accrual pricing for oil, gas, and NGL’s.
Coordinate and complete monthly account reconciliations, management reporting, audit requests and participate in various business and system discussions.
Track Crude Oil prices, differentials and select North American natural gas prices.
Work closely with Production Accounting and Finance personnel to ensure the smooth flow of information and proper tracking of volumes, qualities and revenues associated with crude oil, NGL and gas marketing at each facility.
Timely and accurate creation and distribution of invoices relating to the monthly cheque exchange process.
Analyze monthly Accrual and Actual models for completeness and accuracy. Prepare detailed Accrual to Actuals Variance Analysis summary.
Track pipeline restrictions and/or maintenance schedules that could impact oil, gas and liquids flows, acting as an interface between assets teams and affiliates to report any curtailment and potential operational issues.
Monitor marketing contract renewals, expiries, and commitment updates.
Foster positive working relationships with all internal customers, including field and Calgary area personnel.

Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

University degree in Business, Finance or similar
Minimum 2 years of energy industry experience with knowledge of commodity pricing.
Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office including Excel and database functions.
